Quezon City registered the most index crimes among chartered cities in the Philippines from 2010 to 2015, followed by Manila, Cebu, Davao, and Cagayan De Oro, the Philippine National Police (PNP) revealed on Friday.
Data released by the police bureau showed that out of the country’s top 15 chartered cities, Quezon City had the biggest percentage share, accounting for 17.10 percent.

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Philippines— Pampangans cheered when Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, a presidential aspirant, promised on Friday that if elected he would release former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo from detention.
Arroyo, who has been detained in a hospital in Manila for six years on charges of electoral fraud and plunder, holds the seat of the 2nd District of Pampanga province in the House of Representatives.
